OneOncology Partner Practice APPs Shine at JADPRO Live 2025

Earlier this month, 62 advanced practice providers (APPs) from OneOncology partner practices came together at JADPRO Live 2025, the national meeting of the Advanced Practice Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO). Held at the Gaylord National Harbor in Maryland, the conference brought together thousands of oncology and hematology APPs from across the country to share the latest clinical insights, best practices, and innovations in patient care.

With this year’s theme, “United in Care,” APPs from across the OneOncology network spent the week learning from one another, building connections, and presenting original research that highlights the vital role APPs play in community oncology.

Together, OneOncology and our partner practices presented six abstracts from five different partner practices, plus one from OneOncology – showcasing topics ranging from multidisciplinary care models and APP training programs to compensation models and rapid response initiatives.

Presenters included:

Marlee Bogema, The Cancer and Hematology Centers: One Year In: Reviewing a Multidisciplinary Approach to Outpatient Bispecific T-Cell Engager Therapy

Rachel Carroll, Astera Cancer Care: Empowering Change: A Multidisciplinary Model for Tobacco Cessation in Community Oncology

Chelsey Karr and Ann Hatfield, Clearview Cancer Care: Enhancing Emergency Preparedness: Implementation of a Rapid Response System in a Community Oncology Setting

Jonathan Catrona, New York Blood & Cancer Specialists: Optimizing APP Integration in Oncology: Insights From a Multistate Initiative

Susan Utley, Holly Bushart, and Nicole Deline, Tennessee Oncology: Development and Implementation of an Advanced Practice Provider Oncology and Hematology Fellowship at a Large Community Oncology Practice

Nicole Deline and Holly Bushart, Tennessee Oncology: A Compensation Model for Advanced Practice Providers in Oncology and Hematology

Nicole Deline, OneOncology: A Large Network of Community Oncology Practices’ Solution to Onboarding Novice APPs into General Medical Oncology and Hematology

Across every session and poster, one theme stood out — the power of collaboration to deliver cancer care. Whether developing new education models, refining clinical workflows, or mentoring the next generation of APPs, our teams continue to lead the way in advancing high-quality, patient-centered cancer care.

We’re incredibly proud of our APPs and the leadership they bring to the OneOncology network — and we can’t wait to see what’s next at JADPRO Live 2026 in Minneapolis!
