Nashville, TN – January 18, 2022 – OneOncology, the national platform for independent oncology practices, announced today that Karen Kizzia has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer. Kizzia joins as a member of OneOncology’s leadership team reporting to CEO Jeff Patton, MD.

Kizzia brings a wealth of experience driving design, implementation and improvements to employee benefits, compensation, incentive rewards and health plan programs. She’s held senior-level human resources positions for healthcare delivery and technology companies.

Most recently, Kizzia was Vice President, Total Rewards at Ardent Health Services, a hospital system with 30 hospitals and 26,000 employees in seven states. At Ardent, Kizzia worked with the hospital’s leadership to build successful employee engagement programs. During her tenure, Ardent was consistently recognized for strong workplace culture including earning a spot Modern HealthCare's Best Places to Work list for several years.

Prior to Ardent, Kizzia was a VP of Human Resources at Change Healthcare responsible for benefits programs, managing their Health Resources Information System and overseeing human resources for the Mergers & Acquisitions team. She also did a stint at Change as a Director of Finance. Kizzia also has experience in sales and customer operations at Cardinal Health within their pharmaceutical distribution and financial services functions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University.
