In 2025, OneR Research continued to strengthen its position as a high-performing, community-based site management research network by delivering measurable progress across practice participation, trial activation, and operational infrastructure — all key factors to expand patient access to clinical research.
By year-end, OneR had 15 practices active in its network, 92 trials activated across the network, and a 260 percent increase in trial accruals overall. These milestones reflect OneR’s ability to align sponsors, practices, and centralized services around a shared commitment to high-quality, clinical research in community practices nationwide.
Operationally, OneR focused on scalability and consistency. The development of a centralized trial pre-screening team improved practice efficiency and reduced administrative burdens, enabling sites to identify eligible patients more quickly and consistently. As a result, the network realized meaningful year-over-year percentage growth in trial activations and patient enrollment, while also achieving double-digit percentage reductions in activation timelines compared to prior years.
Additionally, OneR practices are opening research studies investigating modalities and designs usually only accessible at academic medical centers. These programs include dedicated phase I programs at several sites, enhancing the ability to enroll patients on trials with varied mechanisms of action including bispecific antibodies and cellular therapy. This early phase research includes more than forty sponsors. OneR sites are also growing their capacity to conduct studies with CAR-T cells. Areas of research include solid tumor CAR-T cells, in vivo CAR-T cells, dual-targeting CAR-T cells, among others.
OneR also advanced its clinical research capabilities with the development of centralized prospective real-world evidence trial infrastructure, positioning the network to support studies that better reflect real-world patient populations across both rural and urban settings. These capabilities enhance sponsor confidence while ensuring research more accurately mirrors the diversity of patients receiving care in community oncology practices.
OneR’s centralized pre-screening, accelerated activation, and consistent regulatory and operational support are making clinical trials feasible for practices that historically lacked the resources to participate. Research remains a critical pathway for expanding patient access to innovative clinical trials while enabling practices to participate sustainably and successfully.
